WOLFPACK CRIT: TEAM STATE BICYCLE CO.

Seven riders from Team SBC travelled out to Los Angeles last month to compete in the Wolfpack Hustle Civic Center Criterium. Most of the team competed in both track and road categories and it looks like everyone had a good time.

WOLFPACK CRIT: SAMSON PHOTOS

It was a long summer day yesterday and perfect conditions for Wolfpack Hustle's Civic Center Criterium. The racing was fast, the finishes were amazing and the entire event was a lot of fun. My buddy Sammy just sent me his photos of the races which capture the excitement of the day perfectly.

See the rest of the set HERE.

WPH MARATHON CRASH RACE: JUST GOT REAL

A couple years ago, few guys from State Bicycle Co. raced the infamous Wolfpack Hustle Marathon Crash Race. The Arizona team swept the podium in the fixed category and won the sacred Wolfpack dogtags which commenced a great rivalry between riders in Los Angeles and our neighboring state of AZ. Now State Bicycle Co. is sending out the message that they are ready to do it again. You better bring it!

The Wolfpack Hustle Marathon Crash Race is coming up on March 17th.

WOLFPACK HUSTLE 2013: UNIFIED TITLE

Wolfpack Hustle’s 2013 website went live last night with the official announcement of the Unified Title Race Series. Three unique races contested throughout the year that will decide who is the Wolfpack Hustle Unified Title Champion.

Of course the first race in the series is the infamous Marathon Crash Race on March 17th — less than a month away! Free registration is now open at City Grounds.

MIDNIGHT DRAG RACE: VICIOUS CYCLE

Wolfpack Hustle's Midnight Drag Race is going down in history as one of the greatest grassroots efforts put on by the Los Angeles cycling community. Mae Ryan and Bear Guerra of KPCC were there to document the whole ordeal. I have a feeling there will be a bunch more media about the Midnight Drag Race trickling out for the next little while.

WOLFPACK HUSTLE: MIDNIGHT DRAG RACE

It was an insane Saturday night. I got there at 4:30pm and didn’t leave the 2nd Street Tunnel until 3:30am. I did not see any of the finishes, the times, the projections, the vendors nor any of the shit-talking speedometer readouts. But I did see each racer there (over two hundred of them) before sending them off from the starting line and I had a great time. I have no idea how many spectators showed to watch the finishes up but the cheers were LOUD as they echoed down the tunnel. Big thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered, raced, cheered and set this event up and congratulations to the winners!

MEN
1. Timothy McGee (Predator Cycling)
2. James Zaldua (Predator Cycling)
3. Tony Zaldua (OTR)

WOMEN
1. Beatriz Rodriguez (Wolfpack Hustle)
2. Lindsay Nelson (Bicykillers)
3. Shelby Walter (Velo Club La Grange)

TONIGHT IN LOS ANGELES

I’m proud to lend support and be a part of the Wolfpack Hustle Midnight Drag Race. Tonight, over 200 racers will sprint down the 2nd Street Tunnel in Downtown Los Angeles. The fastest 16 times (in each the women’s and men’s categories) will advance to a elimination tournament of head-to-head drag races. I’ll be there tonight making sure that all the racing goes down smoothly. This is going to be an epicly proportioned event with lots of vendors, exhibitors, sponsors and races filling up the entire tunnel with excitement. Don’t miss it.

Tons more details are over at Wolfpack Hustle.

MACAFRAMA x RED BULLETIN: ROADBLOCK!

Macaframa just droppped this rad video on my pal Roadblock and the Wolfpack Hustle Ride. Roadblock is like the godfather of urban bike culture around these parts so pay attention. If I remember correctly, I think he started Wolfpack Hustle almost seven years ago now and it’s nice to see a little credit finally come back to where it’s due.
