ITALIA - THE CHOICE OF CHAMPIONS
This is an awesome video made by the Italian Trade Commission circa 1986 to promote the Italian bicycle industry. Gotta love all the vintage bike pr0n in this one. Oh and the soundtrack kills it!
Buy Italian!
WATCH FOR IT…

HELENVALE TEAM PURSUIT
Glasgow circa 1960’s. Love the shot of the wind rippling through their wool jerseys.

Awesome old school portrait found on Prolly via Bici Crono.
Another reel of old Super 8 racing footage from Alpenrose Velodrome in the 70’s. This is coming from the same guy who shared footage of a junior Greg Lemond winning National Championship titles at this track.
This is a long long long video and I’m not saying you should watch the whole thing. I’m just posting it because I love the grainy look of the Super 8 film. It’s got such a mood and atmosphere to it that goes perfectly with the old lugged steel bicycles and spoked wheels that they are racing. Maybe a nice video to project on the wall at your next goldsprints party?

The Rotarian: The Race To Nowhere
Six-day bicycle racing featured in an issue of The Rotarian from December, 1937. That’s 63 years ago! Very cool read.

Real racers shave with Gillette!
« Success at a stayer match is only possible when pacer and stayer are completely attuned to each other. When shaving the unit and blade must also be one.
Therefore, use in your Gillette device only Gillette blades - the most durable and strongest in the world.
A Gillette razor and Gillette Blue Blades belong together.
