CHARI & CO: THE DEATH RACER
It’s not too often that we get to see a bike that’s equal parts legit track steez and #fixiefoo street cred. This badass stealth racer that came out of Chari & Co NYC a couple days ago will probably see more street miles than velodrome laps but there’s nothing wrong with that in my book.

NAHBS: HAMPSTEN-ELEVEN
Okay one more gem from last weekend’s NAHBS. This beautiful homage to the famous 7-Eleven team bikes was built by Hampsten Cycles.
A gorgeous bicycle photographed perfectly by John “Prolly” Watson. Catch more eye-popping details HERE.
NAHBS: 611RENSHO
Another rad throwback track bike from the NAHBS show this weekend comes from Six-Eleven Bicycle Co. Their tribute to the legendary 3Rensho Keirin frames is suited perfectly with a full NJS build.

NAHBS: BISHOP x DRILLIUM REVIVAL
Clean, classic elegance. A reminder of why we fell in love with these track machines in the first place courtesy of Bishop Bikes. With custom drilling and milling on the componentry by Drillium Revival and a gorgeous hue from Fresh Frame, it’s so nice to see a bike that exudes pure simplicity and alluring mystique all at once. Of course this steed was shot beautifully by John Watson who’s in Denver covering the North American Handmade Bicycle Show all weekend.

JOHN’S NEW FBM SWORD SQ
Prolly unveiled his lovely new FBM Sword SQ on his site today. This frame has been in development for a while and I’m honestly really impressed with the outcome. Keepin’ it real on steel, handmade in USA with classic track geometry and doesn’t quite break the bank — $525 for the frame / $755 for frame + fork + integrated headset. Well done. Seriously.

SEAN MARTIN FOR AFFINITY CYCLES
My friend who runs TOLA and rides for CBNC laments his broken Affinity Lo Pro frame. Good thing he’s getting a brand new Kissena! Sean’s been killing it at the track during my Intro To Track Racing class lately and I hope to see his new frame rolling around the surface of Encino Velodrome soon.
