WOLFPACK HUSTLE: MIDNIGHT DRAG RACE

It was an insane Saturday night. I got there at 4:30pm and didn’t leave the 2nd Street Tunnel until 3:30am. I did not see any of the finishes, the times, the projections, the vendors nor any of the shit-talking speedometer readouts. But I did see each racer there (over two hundred of them) before sending them off from the starting line and I had a great time. I have no idea how many spectators showed to watch the finishes up but the cheers were LOUD as they echoed down the tunnel. Big thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered, raced, cheered and set this event up and congratulations to the winners!

MEN
1. Timothy McGee (Predator Cycling)
2. James Zaldua (Predator Cycling)
3. Tony Zaldua (OTR)

WOMEN
1. Beatriz Rodriguez (Wolfpack Hustle)
2. Lindsay Nelson (Bicykillers)
3. Shelby Walter (Velo Club La Grange)

Full results HERE.

TOLA RIDER PROFILE: TIM MCGEE

My good friend Tim “Smiley” McGee just got featured on Takeover LA's series of Rider Profiles. Those of you who watched or raced in the Summer Race Series might remember Tim as that guy who practically won all the Sprint tournaments. Yeah, he’s pretty fast.

FOR A FEW LAPS MORE - THE REMIX

Pat Benson brings us another sweet video from the races last weekend at Encino Velodrome. Watch my teammate Tim destroy in the Keirin. This is exactly why Tim won Best Sprinter in the Bob Hansing Memorial Cup Series.
