GO FAST TURN LEFT!

Good track racing isn’t always at the velodrome. Last weekend was the first race of Carytown Bicycle Company's Go Fast Turn Left series which goes down at Southside Speedway in Richmond, VA. Considering that the track is sanctioned for NASCAR events, I’m sure bike racers have no problem going fast but I bet the track rash isn’t pretty.

Richmond, VA knows how to come correct. When there’s no velodrome around they take it to the Southside Speedway, making it literally NASCAR on bikes.

This is the Go Fast Turn Left spring track series presented by Carytown Bicycle Company. Every Tuesday night from April 20th to May 11th. Sessions are 5pm-8pm and bikes are available to loan to those who don’t have wheels.

Check out the recap of last Tuesday’s opening night.
