MEET THE PARALYMPIANS

I can’t stress how awesome it is that Los Angeles is hosting a World Championship track cycling event this week. The UCI Para-Cycling Track Worlds starts tomorrow and the lovely Pat Benson made this video a couple weeks ago to introduce some of the athletes who will be competing.

Admission is free at the Home Depot Center Velodrome so be sure to come check out some of the races.

Video from the 2010 USA Paralympics Track Cycling National Championships. Athletes from across the U.S. came to Colorado Springs to test their mettle in the sport of track cycling. The event served as the qualification competition for the 2010 UCI Paracycling Track World Championships.
