Don’t forget that if you want to catch all the action in Guadalajara today, you can watch the a live stream from the velodrome.  Today will be some Omnium events in the morning and the Men’s Sprint semi-finals start at 2pm PST.

Trinidad’s NJ Phillip (pictured) beat Michael Blatchford in the quarter final round after setting a Pan Am Games Flying 200 record of 9.977 seconds (previously held by Marty Nothstein).  Will NJ take gold tonight?  Watch it live HERE.

Breaking news from the Pan Am Games in Guadalajara — USA’s Michael Blatchford rode a 9.983-second Flying 200m TT during the qualifying round for the Sprint Tournament.  That’s over 45 miles per hour!

I don’t have official results to confirm this, I saw it on the internet so it must be true.  Check out the video HERE.  There’s also a live video stream from the velodrome HERE (and it’s actually high quality).
