The Guardian just posted some of Tom Jenkins’ photos from last week’s European Championships in Apeldoorn. I think these bird’s eye view shots are seriously some of the coolest velodrome shots I’ve ever seen.
The Brits have had plenty of ups and downs over the past few days in Apeldoorn but the plethora of awesome track racing photos from British Cycling just doesn’t stop. Check out plenty more at Flickr.
As the velodrome events at Pan Am Games wrapping up, trackies across the pond are preparing for the European Championships in Apeldoorn. This is the first major international event in Europe and the start of the last season before the Summer Olympics. The racing will be fierce as riders fight for those Olympic qualification points to make it to London 2012. European Champs start tomorrow at the Omnisport Velodrome. Check out a write-up from the British perspective and some more photos at British Cycling.
