1. PAN AM GAMES: BLATCHFORD RIDES 9.983 

Breaking news from the Pan Am Games in Guadalajara — USA’s Michael Blatchford rode a 9.983-second Flying 200m TT during the qualifying round for the Sprint Tournament.  That’s over 45 miles per hour!

I don’t have official results to confirm this, I saw it on the internet so it must be true.  Check out the video HERE.  There’s also a live video stream from the velodrome HERE (and it’s actually high quality).
