1. GET THE MESSAGE


    Been working around the world lately and this week I find myself touching down in New York City. So I’ve been riding around these streets remembering how New York messenger culture first got me into track bikes when I was hanging around here over a decade ago. It’s funny to think about how track racing influenced this generation of messengers who had a huge influence on me and my generation of track racers. I guess all that shit has to come around full circle. When you have a minute, sit down and watch this video. Consider it a history lesson.

    This post is dedicated to my old friend Jayse — an ex-messenger I used to live with in Portland who introduced me to riding fixed gear. I don’t know where you are now but I hope you’re well and doing good things.
