NJS RIDE III

Get your sparkly steel bikes out! We’re proud to be sponsoring the 3rd annual NJS Ride & Bike Show for everyone in LA who’s got a fetish for handmade Keirin bikes. On October 23rd, the group ride will leave from the North Hollywood Metro Station at 1:30pm and head over to Encino Velodrome where the real fun begins. Excited!

ELITE NATS: PHOTO FINISH… AGAIN!

Remember the photo finish I posted on Friday where Giddeon Massie edged past Matt Baranoski in the 1/8 finals of the Match Sprints?

Well Massie did it again on Saturday night, this time beating Baranoski for the Keirin final by the width of a tire. Amazing racing out there and congrats to all the Elite Nats riders!

ELITE NATS: WOMEN’S KEIRIN CRASH

A crash was caught on tape during the last lap of the women’s Keirin minor final last night. Both riders — I believe it was Mandy Marquardt and Mary Glenn Carrasco — got back up an were able to walk back to the infield. We hope that no (collar)bones were broken and that both riders are feeling better today.

Ride safe!

MARYMOOR GRAND PRIX KEIRIN

I gotta say I’ve been loving this season’s race videos from RideITLikeUstoleIT. They’ve been breaking track records all over the country and Project London 2012 turned in an awesome Keirin performance at the Marymoor Grand Prix last weekend.
