ENCINO VELODROME — ALMOST SUMMER

Wednesday nights are heating up! And Beaver Beavs got himself a new camera to capture all the fun. These shots are looking awesome.

Don’t miss the action. Make sure you sign up for the Wednesday night Intro To Track Racing course starting on May 18th.
INTRO TO TRACK RACING BEGINS AGAIN IN MAY

As the summer heats up, so does the action at the track and the best way to get in on the fun is the Intro To Track Racing class at Encino Velodrome. The next six-week course is scheduled to start on May 18th at 7:00pm so get ready to come out and sharpen up your track racing skills.

The program is perfect for newer track riders who wish to learn the rules of different track events as well as experienced racers who want to stay in top form. Each Wednesday night we’ll focus on a specific type of discipline until the final week which will be an Omnium final. It’s $60 for the full six-session course. Space is limited so please pre-register — hit the Paypal button below and bring your receipt to the first session.

If you haven’t ridden on the track before, you MUST complete the Encino Velodrome Beginner’s Class prior to taking this course. Also, all pre-registered riders are welcome to stop by on May 11th at 7:00pm for a little prep/evaluation session to determine rider skill levels — nothing serious, just some fun races and such.

If you got any questions, please send me an e-mail. Again, space is limited so hit the Paypal button to pre-register and guarantee your spot.

HANGIN’ WITH THE TRACKIES

My man Garry from GlockWork came out to Encino Velodrome last Wednesday and shot some of our Intro To Track Racing riders. Nice edit!

INTRO TO TRACK RACING - BIKE PORTRAITS

Last night was the conclusion to the current Intro To Track Racing course at Encino Velodrome. After I shut off the track lights, Beaver Beavs stuck around to shoot some bike portraits with some of the riders.

Everyone had an awesome time and the class riders have all improved their track riding skills vastly. Stay tuned for info on the next Intro To Track Racing course which I’ll be announcing shortly…

FEET WARMER

Last night’s session at Encino Velodrome was pretty chilly so we had to fire up the track grill just to take the numbness out of our frozen toes. Of course, we’re totally lucky to even be able to ride at our outdoor track in February.

Encino Velodrome’s Wednesday night Intro To Track Racing class officially starts next week. For more details, click here!

INTRO TO TRACK RACING CLASS STARTS IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS

Get hyped! The lights are back on at Encino Velodrome and the other night I coached the homies around for a few laps and some races. Everyone is looking forward to the official start of the next Intro To Track Racing course in a couple weeks.

This Wednesday (Feb 2nd) we’ll have a little prep night from 7pm to 10pm. We’ll throw some fun races and get to know new faces. Let’s fire up the BBQ too! Everyone is encouraged to come, especially those who haven’t taken the Intro To Track Racing class before.

Intro To Track Racing is a six-week course held at Encino Velodrome on Wednesday nights starting Feb 9th from 7pm to 10pm. It’s just sixty bucks for the full six weeks (and pre-registered students can attend the prep session on Feb 2nd at no extra charge). All the money goes straight to Encino Velodrome to help keep the lights on and the races running.

We got a lot of new riders signed up for this round and a bunch who of alumni who are coming back for more practice and racing so it should be a really fun class. Pre-registration is filling up quick so if you want to guarantee your spot in the class click the PayPal button below and register! Space is limited.
