This video came out a few days ago (in internet terms that’s an eternity) so please excuse my tardiness but it’s still just as fresh as ever. A few friends out for a joy ride in the park. What a fine day indeed…
The much sought-after GSC cycling kit was introduced almost a year ago at the Summer Race Series. Finally, they’re taking pre-orders from now till May 7th. I gotta say these kits look f’n awesome and they’re made right in Los Angeles by Endo Customs so get one!
Team GB revealed their 2012 Olympics kit today and it looks swanky! Stay tuned for details on how to get one of your own — no, you don’t have to be on Team GB, although that wouldn’t hurt.
See, track racing is so hot right now that even Gucci is getting in on the game. This Bianchi collabo helmet obviously takes its cues from pista helmets commonly seen on the velodrome. The polycarbonate (plastic) helmet comes in two sizes with a mirrored visor, luxurious leather straps and the trademark Gucci stripes on a black or a white base. If you feel like flossin’ up like a bigass spender at the next local track meet, this domepiece will set you back $890 at the Gucci store. Bling!
But we all know only basic bitches wear that shit so if you don’t don’t wanna bother, try showing some love for an up-and-coming velodrome and get a carbon Casco Warp 1501 for next season. At $310, it’s pretty much a third the price of the Gucci lid, all proceeds go to the development of the Chicago Velo Campus and the Casco is actually designed for track racing (looks cooler too).
My good buddy Aram G over at Predator Cycling just let me know that they have a new design for next year’s kits and it looks pretty damn rad.
The new Stealth kits are available on pre-order now and for a limited time you can use the coupon code RIDETHEBLACKLINE to get a 10% discount on the order. Grab yours at Predator Cycling.
I don’t know what I’d do with a musette bag but Il Soigneur has made some brilliant bags out of recycled vinyl banners from the previous Manchester World Cup. Check them out on Urban Hunter.
