The Bay Area is blowin’ up with bikes this weekend.
« The 4th annual San Francisco Bike Expo is designed to take you back in time from when you first started riding a bike to the latest in offerings from bicycle companies to gravity defying feats of fearless riders to customs to classics. It gives exposure to small companies, provides competitions for kids, allows non-profits to deliver key messages and for many …. it is their start into the world of cycling. Keep it simple! You may start on BMX and end up on road bike. Its all about the bike and the people that ride them. »
Be sure to check out all the events going on around the expo area too — including alleycats, trick comps, art exhibits, parties and more. Takeover LA has a good list of things to do.
The track bike and fixed gear scene is in full effect over in Malaysia. This looks like such an awesome weekender including track racing, crit racing, fixed gear tricks and bike polo. Rad!

Savage Sprints is a series of Goldsprints nights at Hot Italian presented by the Sacramento Valley Velodrome Association. Does Sacramento even have a velodrome yet? Nope! That’s why you need to go race at Savage Sprints and help support the growing track cycling community in Sacto who are hungry to get a velodrome built there.
