WOLFPACK MARATHON CRASH RACE IN B&W

Last weekend was the notorious Marathon Crash Race 2 presented by Wolfpack Hustle. The race was fast, cold and kinda wet. First of all, congrats to Lynn for winning first place girl — an alumnus of the Intro To Track Racing class at Encino Velodrome. LA’s own John The Roadie defended his Marathon Crash Race title with an overall win and 1st place in the road category but the big shocker was brought by a few guys from State Bicycles in Arizona who completely owned the fixed gear podium (and coming in 2nd, 3rd and 5th place overall). The coveted Wolfpack Dog Tags have left Los Angeles! Check the recap at Prolly’s site.

Anyway, my buddy Mikey Wally was there to capture a lot of the action and he’s got a great set of black-n-whites from the night. Check out the rest of the set here.

WOLFPACK HUSTLE: ALL CITY TEAM RACE 3

Los Angeles knows how to throw down! The infamous Wolfpack Hustle put on this legendary race back in 2009. Over thirty teams of five (with at least one fixed gear rider per team) smash across LA. Nothing short of epic.

STUPOR BOWL 2011

Time for a set of alleycat race videos! This one is from the largest alleycat in the country — The Stupor Bowl in Minneapolis. This was the 14th edition of the race which takes place every year the day before the Super Bowl. There are 2 versions of the race. The Speed race which is just fastest biker wins and the Stupor Race which entails that you drink a beer at each checkpoint. Oh yeah, and it’s cold too!

FORTUNE 700 FIXED GEAR STAGE RACE

Andrew at RideAD went to the Fortune 700 fixed gear stage race at the Pasadena Rose Bowl on Sunday. You can bet that for every event Andrew attends, there will be a rad video edit posted within days.

Fortune 700 is an all-fixed gear two-stage race. The first stage is a two-man team time trial for 10 miles. Then it’s a 20-mile circuit race. My man Riccardo won the overall!

Check the rest of the results at TOLA.
