This Saturday at Encino Velodrome!

The John Fitzpatrick And Dave Staub Memorial Far West Encino Velodrome Championships (or Far West for short) is one of the biggest annual track events in Southern California and it’s going down this weekend.  Don’t miss it.

Confirmed participants include Canada’s Tara Whitten — the current World Champion in the women’s Omnium — as well as National Omnium Champion Cody O’Reilly.

Riders from all over will compete for their share of a $2,000 purse and qualification spots for this year’s Elite National Championships.  This is also an ATRA NCS event.

Racing starts at 9 AM and includes all events in the 2012 Olympic program, including Match Sprints and KEIRINS!!!  Check the schedule here.
