Don’t miss the final race day in the Bob Hansing Memorial Cup Series at Encino Velodrome this Saturday!

This is the last chance for competitors in the series to score points so it’s gonna be a good one. Here’s a look at some of our overall leaders:

In the Cat 3-4 field, Daniel Kosykh of Encino Velo (who also races in the Juniors 13-16 field) has a great points lead. His closest competition will be Scott Lelieur and Ryan Barrett, both from PAA. Barrett has been getting really fast so he might be able to pull it off if the PAA riders (Barrett, Lelieur and Junu Kang) work together like they did last month when they secured an all-PAA podium in the Cat 3-4 field.

Daniel Kosykh trails right behind Chazmichael Morales (CPT) in the Juniors 13-16 field. But you can’t forget about Kosykh's teammates Jordan Zhdanov and Scott Cohen who’ve been riding strong all season and are also in a good position to take the series lead.

With John Allen (Velocity) absent in omnium #3, Richard Kim (Herbalife LaGrange) has clinched a first place series title in the Masters field. Allen will have to battle for second with Anthony Gianatasio (Herbalife LaGrange).

For the women, the Hammer Nutrition duo of Shane Ellis and CJ Boyenger still have a commanding series lead even after missing the last race day. They will have to show up this Saturday if they don’t want to risk Jennifer Wilson (Vanderkitten) or Dana Feiss (HDC) stealing a series title.

John Allen's absence in the previous race day also helped Jack Lindquist of Ritte Racing (make sure to check out my recent interview with Jack!) grab a considerable points lead in the Cat 1-2-3 field. If Lindquist can keep his pistons firing this Saturday, then he may earn a well-deserved series title. Allen will need a 1st place omnium position to even have a chance at the series. This will be the race to watch!

Aside from overall winners, awards will also be given to the series’ Best Sprinters, Best Endurance Riders and Most Aggressive. This has been an thrilling series so far and I’m excited to see how it ends up and excited for another Encino Velodrome race day.

Come out to the races! Check all the details here.
