British cycling legend Chris Boardman recently gave his world-famous Lotus superbike (rebranded as Eddy Merckx) to the new Museum Of Liverpool. This is the bike that Boardman smashed the Hour Record with in 1996.
Along with the bike, Boardman is also handing over a piece of the Manchester Velodrome track (given to him when they resurfaced the track in 2007) and a Yellow Jersey from the 1994 Tour De France.
