VeloSynth — a synthesizer for your bike.

I’m all into synthesizers, circuit bending and audio re/deconstruction and this little project developed by the Effalo collective in Portland takes that synth nerdiness and multiplies it by bike geekiness. VeloSynth is an “open source bicycle interaction synthesizer” and it looks like the perfect accessory to make my whip even more annoying than it already is.

No seriously, I f’n love the idea and see lots of possibilities in what can be done with it so I might just have to get one of these. Check the video and then go check the VeloSynth website for more info on how it works.

Found on BikePortland.
