The 2012 London Olympic Velodrome is really shaping up. Here’s an aerial shot of how the roof is coming along. The exterior construction is expected to be completed by the end of the summer and then they’ll start laying down the track. When the velodrome is done some time in 2011, it will seat 6,000 spectators and will probably be one of the nicest velodromes in the world. I’m pretty excited to see it done.
