This video from the 1988 Olympics in Seoul just surfaced. It’s Colin Sturgess (GBR) and Bernd Ditter (GDR) racing for the Bronze medal in the 4km Individual Pursuit. When the video starts, we’re already 3 minutes into the race and Sturgess is behind by 3 seconds. Dittert looks steady and solid but the Englishman makes an amazing effort to recover for lost time.
