Pomona College student Samuel Starr taking laps around his senior art project/velodrome Circulus — which was featured in the LA Times today.
I posted about Circulus last week when I discovered it and I’ve been talking about it ever since. I love the fact that someone just went and built a cycle track on a super-grassroots level. I couldn’t make it out to Claremont to see the reception they had last weekend but I watched some of it on their live webcam stream. It looked pretty f’n rad and I’d love to come ride it one of these days. Congratulations to Sam Starr and everyone else who helped contribute to this project.
