Circulus is an art installation at Pomona College in Claremont, CA. It’s a perfectly round cycle track with 45-degree banking. I’m not sure how long it is but a lap takes about 5 seconds. It’s built inside a decommissioned library at the college which makes a very beautiful and serene setting.
See some riding shots at their website.
I don’t know how I missed the initial opening for this on May 5th but there will be second opening reception this Saturday, May 15th at 8pm. For those who can’t make it, you can catch a live feed by punching this URL into your Quicktime or RealPlayer: rtsp://134.173.70.90/vbrickvideo1 — FYI, the feed is always running and sometimes you can catch someone taking a little ride.
