FRED PERRY CYCLING SHIRTS

Before riding bikes all over Los Angeles, I used to scoot around on a Vespa. I listened to The Jam, Small Faces and collected Northern Soul 45’s. And I still have a closet full of Fred Perry polos.

Yeah it’s true that cycling jerseys were once standard mod attire (I think that was mostly a Manchester thing in the 60’s) but only while riding an Italian steel bike of course. I first heard about these Fred Perry “Cycling Shirts” a few months ago and I’m glad they finally got the World Champion Stripes in the right order — but of course I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing a World Champion jersey unless I was actually a World Champion. Belgian colors on the other hand… I’d wear that!

Now available to purchase online at Fred Perry.
