EPIC SPLINTER!
There was a huge crash during the Keirin final at the Track World Cup in Manchester today. As the last man standing, Chris Hoy took the win. Malaysia’s Azizulhasni Awang wasn’t so lucky – he picked up a gnarly 7-inch splinter from the track surface which pierced cleanly through his leg. The crashed riders all remounted their bikes and finished the race with Awang coming in third place to take the overall World Cup Keirin title.
