British Cycle Speedway Championships


If you’ve never seen indoor Cycle Speedway before, this video captures some of the excitement of this sport which is so unlike any other strand of cycle racing, with its strong team structure, frequent physical contact, short but incredibly intense races and in its atmosphere.

I’ve only ever seen cycle speedway on outdoor dirt tracks, never seen it on an indoor gym surface. Check out the cornering!
