1993 World Championships - Motor Pace Race

I think this is the last year they held stayer races at the World Champs.

I know Phil Liggett says he’s never seen a crash in one of these races before but it just looks hairy. I mean look at that gnarly wipeout.

Jens Veggerby is the star of the show.

I’m not sure what the rules are for this race or how points are awarded. Anyone care to elaborate?
