    Deep Red

    (aka Profondo Rosso)

    So stoked on this film from the Italian artisan of terror, Dario Argento. It’s got everything you ever wanted from an Argento flick: surreal suspense, unusual murders, psychic powers, beautiful lavish imagery and of course a killer score from Goblin.

    This is the English dubbed version for American audiences, which is missing about 20 minutes of the more violent imagery from the original Italian cut — but if you want, you can see the original here (it’s in Italian, no subs).
