Hellyer Friday Night Racing » The last Friday night of races for Hellyer Park Velodrome’s 2010 season. Track opens at 6pm.

Park(ing) Day » If you notice a playground or a park bench and astro turf in a metered parking spot during your ride in to work today (or anything that you wouldn’t normally find in a parking spot) — that’s Park(ing) Day. It’s a worldwide event so look out for reclaimed parking spots in your town.

Babes In Bikeland 4 » All-female alleycat race in Minneapolis. Meet at Soap Factory at 5pm.

C.R.A.N.K. MOB’s CRANKMAS III » Three years ago I started this little social/party ride… and the rest is history. Now LA’s infamous MOB is back for the annual all-out celebration of F.U.N. Emphasis on everything in that last sentence. Meet at Westwood Park at 9:30pm.

Killing The Messenger Premier » Screening a flick about Stupor Bowl in Minneapolis. Movie starts at 8:30pm at The Ritz Theater.

Match Sprints! » Wedged (kinda) between Babes In Bikeland and Killing The Messenger, a sprint contest in Minneapolis. Behind Bars bike shop at 5pm.

Bike Shorts » Re-screening the Bike Shorts program in Brooklyn since it rained last weekend. New location is Southpaw in Park Slope at 8pm.

Chico Fixed Gear Competition » Lots of events plus an alleycat race planned for this day full of fixed gear fun in Chico, CA. Meet at the parking lot between First St. and Wall St. at 3:30pm.

Frome Cobble Wobble » Somerset County’s infamous cobbled hillclimb race. Who will be crowned King Of The Cobbles? Find out at St. Catherine’s Hill at 1pm.
