Canadian Cyclist interviews Pat McQuaid — Part 5


I skipped the last two parts of this extended interview with the president of UCI because they didn’t have much to do with track cycling. But in this segment, McQuaid basically calls bullshit on Chris Hoy and Vicky Pendleton for whining about not being able to do the Commonwealth Games because they need the Olympic qualification points from the European Championships. He basically calls them whiny little brats and there’s no reason they can’t do both competitions. Pretty easy for him to say, right? But I guess he’s got a point.
