“i am back…and i am pissed. there is a fire inside of me now”—Shelley Evans, USA team rider whose BMC Track Machine snapped in half from a crash during the women’s scratch race at the UCI World Championships.
This is the first post. Awkward. Like a first date or a first kiss… or even more awkward: a first fuck. I’m not sure what I’m doing here. You probably feel the same way. Hopefully this clumsy, uncomfortable stage will soon pass and we’ll get to a point down the line where we feel comfortable enough with each other to say what’s really on our minds. I guess I’d be the one saying since I don’t think there’s any way for you to provide feedback on a Tumblr blog. Just to warn you about what you’re getting into — the content I provide you will not necessarily be related to velodromes, track racing, track bikes (or pista or fixed gear or fixie whip skids) or even bicycles in general. That said, the content will not necessarily be unrelated either. So enjoy. Or at least pretend.
